Demand CS + Archer Multi-pack (2 quarts and 5 pints) is a pack containing both Demand CS and Archer IGR.
Demand CS: Demand CS is a water-based insecticide concentrate that offers excellent indoor and outdoor pest control. Demand's micro-encapsulated technology means that when you apply it, it leaves thousands of micro particles that bind to the surface offering long-term protection and fast insect knock-down. In fact, Demand CS is up to 200 times more active on flies, mosquitoes, and other insects than other insecticides. Demand CS controls more than 30 common insects including spiders, ants, flies, wasps, fleas, ticks and bed bugs. It can be used both indoors and outdoors with little to no odor or staining.
Archer:
Archer IGR is an Insect Growth Regulator that is also photostable, meaning that it does not break down easily in direct sunlight. You can use Archer IGR to control insect populations both indoors and outdoors. The Archer IGR unique mode of action disrupts the life cycle of ants, fleas, flies, ticks, cockroaches, mosquitoes and beetles leading to effective population control.
For best results, IGR products should be applied with an insecticide such as Demand CS. They can be mixed together and applied at the same time from a one gallon hand pump sprayer.
Included in this pack = 2 quarts of Demand CS and 5 pints of Archer IGR
How Demand CS Works
To understand how Demand CS works you must first know what it is. Demand CS is a microencapsulated water-based formulation offering superior insect control. Compared to older pyrethroid materials that have been used for many years with declining results, it is up to 200 times more active on flies and other animal health pests allowing lower rates. And it’s designed not only to work better, but to work longer. Demand CS controls over 30 insect pests including: Ants, Bees, Carpet Beetles, Centipedes, Cigarette Beetles, Cockroaches, Confused Flour Beetles, Firebrats, Fleas, Ticks, and more.
Demand CS combines an advanced generation pyrethroid with a unique capsule suspension formulation for outstanding protection against numerous perimeter insect pests.
Once the formulation has been applied and dried, lambda-cyhalothrin, the active ingredient, is released from the capsules. Control will occur primarily through direct contact of the insect pest with the capsules, with lambda-cyhalothrin transferring directly from the capsule to the cuticle of the insect. It is also possible for the capsules to be ingested in the case of insect pests which preen themselves such as cockroaches.

How Archer Works
Archer Insecticide is an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator). The Archer Insecticide unique mode of action disrupts the life cycle of ants, fleas, flies, ticks, cockroaches, mosquitoes and beetles for effective population control.
- Low hazard, only carries a “caution” warning from the EPA.
- Non-volatile and remains stable in sunlight.
- Effective when used in combination with other baits, and readily tank mixes with adulticides like Demand CS and Demon MAX, for a fast-acting, superior pest control program.
- Does not cause stain or odor when used as directed.
- Retains activity against pre-adult fleas for up to 7 months, and against pre-adult cockroaches for up to 6 months.
What is an IGR?
- Archer Insecticide is an IGR, or Insect Growth Regulator.
- An IGR is a chemical that disrupts and impede the life cycle of insects in the egg and larvae stage of development.
- The idea with an IGR is that if an insect cannot reach adulthood, it cannot reproduce.
- In short, IGR is a form of “birth control” for pests which helps keep the populations of unwanted pests under control by preventing current and future infestations.
