SitePro 16-6-8 with Trimec Weed & Feed is a professional granular fertilizer and selective broadleaf herbicide combining a complete 16-6-8 fertilizer analysis with the proven Trimec® three-way herbicide combination of 2,4-D, MCPP-p, and dicamba. Designed for established cool- and warm-season turfgrass, it provides turf nutrition while controlling a broad spectrum of troublesome broadleaf weeds in a single application.

The fertilizer component supplies nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, iron, and manganese, while the Trimec herbicide system controls weeds including dandelion, chickweed, plantain, clover, ground ivy, wild violet, thistles, oxalis, spurge, and many other labeled broadleaf weeds. SitePro 16-6-8 with Trimec is labeled for residential, ornamental, and institutional turf including parks, schools, cemeteries, office properties, and golf-course turf outside prohibited use areas.

Labeled Use Sites

SitePro 16-6-8 with Trimec is labeled for ornamental lawns and established turfgrass in residential, institutional, and ornamental sites. Labeled locations include residences, apartment complexes, condominiums, parks, streets, retail properties, cemeteries, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, museums, libraries, office buildings, sports facilities, and golf courses. The product is intended for noncommercial users, lawn-care operators, and landscape personnel. Sod farms, grass-seed production, and turf being grown for commercial sale are excluded.

Target Weeds

SitePro 16-6-8 with Trimec controls a broad spectrum of labeled broadleaf weeds including dandelion, common and mouseear chickweed, broadleaf and buckhorn plantain, white and red clover, black medic, ground ivy, henbit, wild violet, Canada thistle, bull thistle, musk thistle, field bindweed, curly dock, ragweed, lambsquarters, lespedeza, oxalis or yellow woodsorrel, prostrate and spotted spurge, knotweed, pigweed, purslane, speedwell, wild garlic, wild onion, wild mustard, yarrow, Virginia buttonweed, poison ivy, poison oak, and many other susceptible broadleaf weeds.

Application Notes

Apply 3.0 to 3.6 lb of SitePro 16-6-8 with Trimec per 1,000 sq ft, equivalent to 132 to 158.4 lb per acre. A 50 lb bag treats approximately 16,700 sq ft at 3.0 lb per 1,000 sq ft, 15,600 sq ft at 3.2 lb per 1,000 sq ft, or 13,900 sq ft at the maximum 3.6 lb per 1,000 sq ft rate. Apply uniformly with a properly calibrated drop, rotary, or other granular spreader.

For best weed control, mow 2 to 3 days before treatment and thoroughly water the turf with more than 1/2 inch of water 1 to 2 days before application. Apply in the morning when dew is present or lightly irrigate with less than 1/4 inch immediately before treatment so granules adhere to weed foliage. Do not irrigate or water the turf for 24 hours after application. A maximum of two broadcast applications may be made per year with at least 30 days between treatments. Do not apply to dichondra, carpetgrass, St. Augustinegrass, closely mowed bentgrass putting greens, or turf containing desirable clover.
