Aquashade is a professional-grade blend of blue and yellow dyes designed to inhibit underwater aquatic plant and algae growth by shading specific portions of the sunlight spectrum (red-orange and blue-violet) required for photosynthesis. EPA-registered and trusted by applicators, this product is most effective in water deeper than two feet and works best when applied early in the season. Floating plants such as lilies remain unaffected once they reach the surface. Ideal for use alongside herbicides or algaecides to control surface algae mats and shallow-water plants.
